Ready to stretch those creative muscles and collaborate?
The process from Start-to-Launch is filled with pockets of big aha! moments and a passion driven force to weave your magic through every page. Websites have a variety of roles to play, ranging from services to portfolios to information. The most important role it needs to play is connection.

Once you have decided on your website name, it’s time to register the details and buy a www.domainname.com. There are lots of domain registrars, however my personal fav is 123host. You’ll find many companies offer both domain names and web hosting.
OK. You’ve got your new domain name. Now it’s time to take it public and make it visible on the world wide web. This means you need to purchase web hosting. Again, I recommend 123host because their service is so great. Most hosts offer a service to set up WordPress.org for you as well – just make sure you ask nicely.
Let the fun begin. Now it’s time to choose a theme to install on your new WordPress.org site. If you have a clear vision of how you want your website to look, finding a theme is pretty easy. My recommendations are BluChic, Elegant Themes, ThemeForest & Creative Market.
Once a theme is picked and downloaded, it’s time to install it on your WordPress site. Installation takes a couple of minutes before it’s activated. If you already have WordPress installed, then installing a new theme is so easy.
This is the creative part. We get busy designing your site and customising it with your colour palette and chosen fonts. Next we set-up your social media icons, newsletter sign-up boxes and insert your imagery. Struggling with writing your ABOUT page or WELCOME text? No problemo. I also offer a copywriting service.
Once everything is tested and the site gets the big green light, you can announce the birth of your website for the world to see. Everyone loves a launch party. Spread the news across social media and The Lover Lab will also grab a megaphone and shout about it from our rooftop. Feel free to tag #madebytheloverlab so we can share too.
